Dying, this is so perfect. I wish Howard would do a short movie or something about them, like a day in their life together. I don’t even ask for more sex scenes, I’m just dreaming of silly cute things like breakfast and Alisha being in awe while Simon tells her about Walking Dead. Sigh, I can’t believe we have to wait almost one year for more Misfits.

I love this scene so much, because while we were sort of cheated out of 3 months of their relationship, we actually get to see one of the most basic “firsts” a couple can have: the first kiss. I love that Alisha asks for it and doesn’t just lean into him - she waits for him to lean into her. It’s slow and tentative, on both their parts, even though we know Alisha is ready to rip his clothes off. She is already ahead of the game, being a much more experienced sexual partner for one, and two, she’s already had sex with Simon, so she’s good to go. Simon, on the other hand, is so new to this and clearly unsure of himself and the situation as a whole. There is, however, the smallest glimmer of excitement in his eyes when they break apart, which really gets to me, because he’s probably dreamed of this moment for ages and here it is, catching him off guard and taking his breath away. Gazing up at him is his girlfriend who he can finally touch, and who has the most sincere look of love in her eyes. ♥
